Bruno Fernandes shines as Portugal secures impressive victory against Bosnia

As stated by the club’s official website, Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes played a prominent role as Portugal secured a 3-0 victory against Bosnia and Herzegovina in the 2024 European Championship qualifying match yesterday.

The 28-year-old midfielder showcased an exceptional performance at Estadio da Luz, scoring two goals and providing an assist.

Following their 3-0 victory, Portugal now sits at the top of Group J in the European Championship qualifiers, holding a two-point lead over Slovakia and a five-point advantage over Luxembourg.

Roberto Martinez’s side has been impressive, winning all three of their matches with an impressive combined scoreline of 13-0.

During the match, Portugal dominated possession and managed to break the deadlock just before halftime, with Bernardo Silva scoring the opening goal.

Throughout the season, the midfielder made 59 appearances in various competitions, scoring 14 goals and providing 15 assists.
